🌟 How to Integrate Smart Lighting and Thermostats with Akeptus™Here are step-by-step directions for how you can quickly set up Akeptus with your smart lighting:Pre-requisites
- Akeptus™ account
- Compatible Smart Lighting or Smart Thermostat
(Leviton, LIFX, Lutron, Philips Hue, Wemo, Ecobee, or Honeywell)
Procedure
  • 1

    Account Access
    - If you're new to Akeptus™, register for an account
    - Existing users can log in directly.

  • 2

    Navigate to Building Settings
    - Once logged in, go to the dashboard and click on 'Building Settings'

  • 3

    Room Selection
    - Choose the room where you have installed your smart lighting or thermostat.

  • 4

    Device Addition
    - Click on the 'Add New Device' button.

  • 5

    Device Type
    - From the dropdown menu, select the type of device you are adding (Leviton, LIFX, Lutron, Philips Hue, Wemo for lighting; Ecobee or Honeywell for thermostats).

    Akeptus™ Control Login
    - You will be redirected to the Akeptus™ Control panel. Log in to sync your smart device with Akeptus™.

    Climate Control
    - Once the device is connected, you can control it through various screens like HOME, CLIMATE, and SCENES within the Akeptus™ interface.

  • 8

    Scene Creation
    - Create custom scenes such as HOME and AWAY. Add scene actions to include settings for your Ecobee or Honeywell thermostat.
